We’ve previously mentioned a number of ways to remove your back hair, but none are as unique as electrolysis. Back Hair Electrolysis is the effort to remove back hair by electrocuting the hair follicles that are locating on your back. These follicles are the routs of your back hair problems and are the source for each and every hair.

Like other hair removal methods, electrolysis is an approach to help you feel more comfortable in your current lifestyle. Often, back hair can lower self esteem and cause men to be concerned about their looks during events where they may have their shirt off. To help solve that problem, many men look to remove back hair permanently. Electrolysis for Back Hair removal is one method for permanent back hair removal.

Electrocuting the Follicle

As mentioned above, to remove back hair with electrolysis, an individual will go through a procedure that is designed to electrocute the hair follicles on your back. The effort often takes more than one attempt as different hair follicles become available at different times and all are not available for the electrolysis treatment at the same time.

The FDA recognizes that electrolysis for hair removal is the only electrical way to permanently remove hair, including back hair.

Side Effects of Electrolysis

Unlike chemical methods, there are no long term side effects for back hair electrolysis. The method is a time proven endeavor that leaves individuals without undesired side effects.

Despite the fact that there are no long term side effects, like most hair removal method the skin may become red during the hair removal process.

The lack of long term side effects and the lower pain threshold required for electrolysis makes it a viable option for back hair removal. Be sure to consult with a doctor before you take any approach to ensure that you’re comfortable with the long term change in the way your body looks.

Electrolysis Regulation

Despite not having any long term side effects, many states do regulate the use of electrolysis for back hair removal. Be sure to check your local state laws before continuing. Some states that regulate the effort include:

Alabama

Arkansas

California

Laser hair removal for women is becoming more and more common, but there remains some negative perception amongst males with laser hair removal.

Historically, males have viewed body hair as a sign of manhood. In other words, the more hair they had, the more manly they were. This idea is still common amongst many men, but individuals both male and female, are starting to recognize that body hair can be distracting, difficult to deal with, and makes it more difficult to stay hygienically clean.

One of the best options for hair removal for males is laser hair removal.

Permanent Removal With Male Laser Hair Removal?

Laser hair removal is a viable option for individuals because it is a often very successful treatment. Laser Hair removal is often done in a series of treatments that removes body hair. For males with back hair, laser hair removal often is a solution that requires less day to day maintenance for the individual with the extra body hair.

Sometimes hair is dormant during a laser treatment and requires additional visits to the laser hair removal offices. For additional details on laser hair removal, try visiting other links on this site.

Pain with Male Laser Hair Removal

Like many hair removal treatments, individuals wonder if pain is included with laser hair removal for men. While the process shouldn’t be considered painless, the sensation felt during male laser hair removal is due to heating of the hair follicle. It is true that thicker darker hair is more likely to cause more pain then thinner, lighter colored hair. The increased sensation is due to the fact that the hair follicles of darker hair will absorb
more of the laser than thinner lighter hairs

Male Laser Back Hair Removal

One of the many treatment areas for laser hair removal is the back. Back Hair Removal includes a number of different methods and this includes laser hair removal. If your back hair is becoming itchy or distracting, it may be time to consider laser back hair removal. Feel free to click additional links on this site to find out more about laser hair removal and how you can benefit from male laser back hair removal.

An age old belief is that shaving body hair makes it grow back thicker, darker, and longer. Many individuals considering removing back and body hair are hesitant to do so because of the possibility of having to manage a more complicated and larger problem… More Hair!

But in reality, shaving your hair will NOT increase the thickness, darkness, or length of your hair, body or back! Dr Jonith Breadon of Chicago explains :

Fortunately, you can shave, pluck, wax or nair unwanted hair, without causing more unwanted hair to grow.

For any impact that may possible increase or decrease hair thickness, darkness and length, the follicles (the alive part of your hair) must be modified.

Shaving has no impact on hair follicles. In fact, shaving your hair is no different than cutting it with scissors, it is just closer to the skin. The commercials for razors that show hair being pulled slightly above the skin before cutting is an accurate picture of what is often happening when shaving. You are giving yourself a hair cut with the hair returning slightly below the skin line (thus the cause of ingrown hairs).

Be sure to find out more about why hair grows and if it comes in thicker and darker by browsing through the rest of this site and the links we provide on this article. The information you’re looking for may be just around the corner.

Why People Think Shaving Makes Your Hair Grow Back Thicker and Darker

Shaving itself makes people think the hair is growing more, or that its growing back faster. This illusion is often noticed after a clean shave because a shave makes individuals feel like they’ve completely removed hair when in reality they’ve only cut it. When hair starts growing back, no matter how slightly, people who have shaved will notice the new hair very quickly. If you had left your body or back hair to grow alone, and it grew the same length you probably would never notice because it “blends” in with the rest of the length of the hair.

Additionally, shorter hair often retains darker coloring and looks more “healthy” thus making individuals feel that the hair is thicker and darker when its growing back in. In reality, once the hair reaches its original length, it would be the same color as before a shave.

One of the many back hair removal methods is the use of Bleach. Bleaching your back hair is a way to remove the dark color of the hair without having to worry about weekly or bi-weekly hair removal that is common with individuals that shave back hair.

Bleaching your back hair takes roughly 20 minutes, but is a task that should be tested before implemented in large areas. You never know the impact chemicals may have on your skin and hair and testing your bleaching technique is a good idea before applying bleach to your entire back.

To start your back hair bleaching exercise, purchase a bleaching cream from a beauty store. Many of these creams are designed for female facial use but can be utilized for back hair coloring.

As mentioned above, test the bleaching cream on your hair. Give it significant time to color your hair so that you can see the impact the bleach will have on your entire back hair. Walking around with orange or bright yellow hair on your back is a bit worse than just walking around with back hair.

After you’re confident in the impact of the bleach, apply it to your entire back. Be sure not to over rub the cream as most creams are not meant to be applied to skin, but just the hair you’re bleaching. After 10 – 15 minutes (Always follow the suggestion on the cream box!), remove the bleach with cool water as to not increase the impact the bleach may have on your skin and hair.

After you’ve cleaned up from your back hair bleaching activities, be sure to examine your back and body hair to make sure you didn’t miss any areas while applying the cream. Just one large dark hair can look as bad as a back full of hair!.

Be prepared to apply repairing lotions to your skin after finishing the bleach. Bleach is a strong product that can burn the skin while its coloring the back hair. Always be careful when working with strong chemicals!

If you’re not satisfied with the results of the bleaching approach, be sure to check out other back hair removal methods.

Shaving your back is one of the many options for Back Hair Removal. And although you may be accustomed to shaving your face, legs, or other parts of your body, shaving your back can be a bit more complicated.

How To Shave Your Back

A few tips to consider when Shaving your Back Hair:

Don’t Use New Razors! Instead, use it first on your face a few times so that the razor isn’t too sharp. This will reduce cuts and nicks.

Don’t shave too often. Shaving too often increases your chance for infection as well ingrown hairs.

Take your time. Shaving too quickly will cause you to miss spots or cut yourself. Nothing worse than a bloody, hair spotted back.

Try gel, or standard liquid soup. These often work better than foams and are easier to clean up after

Shave in the direction of the hair growth.

Following these steps will help you avoid some problems and get the most out of your back shaving time. It’s important to remember that Removing Back Hair By Shaving is a hygienic approach and requires time and careful attention. Many people often even choose to use female razors when shaving their body. They report better results and less damage to the skin.

How Often Should I Shave My Back?

How often you decide to shave your back is a very personal decision. But you need to take a look at how quickly your back hair grows, how important it is to have it clean shaven, and when you may show off the back muscles next. Many people report shaving once a week, especially amongst body builders.

Figure out what works best for you, and work it into your regular routine. You don’t want to get caught off guard and re-live those painful “hairy” experiences.
